back in the early to mid 80's we only wore converse chuck taylors. but these were our other option: "WINOs." They gripped like rubber cement and looked cool when you went to the show later. oh yeah they were hella cheap. so here are 2 styles of the wino's you probably never saw before: the velcro top and the mid top. back then you were the MAN if you could find the mid tops. only 3 people i saw with these were: tommy g., roskopp and meekster. the irony today is all of the skate brands are copying this shoe and charging big $$$$ for them. get with it, winos are called winos because only winos wore these 3 dollar shooze,and us broke skaters.
